Michael Zieder, DVM

Dr. Michael Zieder, owner of our Care Center, has been involved with the profession for over 37 years. He began his career in New Jersey as a kennel assistant, worked as a veterinary technician and has been a practicing Veterinarian for the last 20 years. Dr. Zieder received his Animal Science degree from Cook College, Rutgers University and his professional degree from the University of Liverpool, England. He is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and he has extensive experience in animal behavior and training. Dr. Zieder is also a Certified Guide Dog Instructor. He enjoys the challenge of diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery and dentistry. Dr. Zieder has been practicing in the Rockaway area for the last 15 years which has given him a great appreciation and insight as to the needs of our surrounding communities.
